• Oct. 16, 2007 - So Where Have I Been Lately

Good question. This last weekend I was in the kitchen canning. If you stop by to visit don't be surprised if you are offered a glass of grape juice. 19 - 1/2 gallons and 17 quarts of the stuff. This place smelled like a winery.

We also canned corn relish and put corn on the cob in the freezer. Last and as it turned out least, we canned applesauce. Our second batch burned and was totally ruined.

Before that I was wandering about with my head cut off. It would have been nice if it was because I had put it away for safe keeping and then just couldn't find it but no, it was truly gone. Thankfully it was returned to me and I seem to be recovering from the trauma.

is hard work! I planted a small garden this year but not enough to can, we just enjoyed working outdoors and the little bit of veggies we harvested. I absolutely love the cute little video of Psalms 23!! ADORABLE MEMORY!!!

And you've still found time to homeschool and work as editor? Impressive!

On another note, the spelling program you mentioned sounds interesting. I love SP, but now with two doing daily tests and two more waiting in the wings, the idea of one list is certainly intriguing. I'll have to check it out.
