| And good for you (and them). They will not remember all the loads of laundry, the thousands of ceramic tiles cleaned or the late nights you've spent balancing the checking account, but they will remember the time they went out in the tent for the rest of their lives. |

| How fun it must be to be in your home...I am in NY any good advise on really cold snowy days? |

| We do get snow here, although not as much as you I'm sure. Still, you can set up a tent in the snow as well as you can in the rain. You could also make a snow fort or igloo.

| You Rock, TIA!!! Isn't it fun what their little imaginations can come up with when left to their own to play in the rain!!!! Thanks for inspiring me... I think I'll let them leave up all the blankets they hung on the bottom bunk for their "fort" or "clubhouse" (depending on whether you ask my sons or my daughter) this afternoon instead of making them clean it up before bed!!! LOL

| See, here is how they differ from my children. Mine would have done all of that...but at the end of the day they would have tried to sneak in and leave the tent and all of it's contents still outside to play with "later". Which really means that they hope I will clean it up. And why I didn't, and I made them bring everything in...it would take them three days. |

| This post made me laugh. I have 2 of those "dragger of all things possible" to the great outdoors~~tons and tons of stuffed animal friends, books, play food to feed said stuffed animal friends, blankets, and on and on. They spend as much time dragging as they do playing!
What a beautiful letter to your grandma. You are blessed to have those special memories. Thanks for sharing. To me, it was a great reminder of how I want to make a special effort to be all of those things and create special times and memories for my grandchildren one day. Letitia |

| You truly do have a gift for writing! The letter to your Grandma certainly proves that, such a skill for capturing thoughts and placing them on paper. This day in the rain, building a tent, is so like my children as well. What a wonderful thing to be able to allow them such creations....gotta love homeschooling opportunities! |
