I've been thinking quite a bit lately. Don't laugh! I have heard and read about people who knew some homeschoolers, and thought they were weird. When asked to explain how these children were weird, those who believe they are stating fact would say something like this, "They don't act normal."
So, just what is the complaint really? They don't act like you? They aren't hung up on fashionable clothing, don't watch perverse television, don't listen to mind scrambling music, actually enjoy learning, speak in complete sentences, and horrors, love to spend time with family members! Above all, they aren't the least bit concerned about the world's opinion of them. Sheesh, these people don't want to be anything like you!
I mean really, who wouldn't want to act like normal people? A slave to fashion, immune to perversity, drugged by disorganized tones, disdain education, have the communication skills of a cave man, disrespect the very people who have the most to offer you and become jealous when you can't be like every other normal person.
It sounds to me like these anti-homeschoolers are the people who aren't normal. They aren't free, they aren't original. Carbon copies of the automaton next to them.
Homeschoolers aren't normal. They're just real.
