Okay, God has been telling me to write a book called Compost. The book will be looking at Creation and how God speaks to us through it. The title expresses how God can take the things we discard as useless, or pieces of our lives that we'd rather forget, and make these things, these pieces into rich, fertile ground. 

I've never been very "biologically minded," but it is time for me to study up. Most of my ideas come from gardening, cooking, adventures in the great outdoors, but if I knew more about the scientific processes involved with what I am doing, God would even moreso jump off the page.

I think I'll have the kids join me on this adventure. My husband IS an adventure and I know will be a great help and a sieve for this process.

LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN!

Hi. My name is Ai Boon and I was encouraged by your comment on another blog where you said that you were praying for all of us in the CHCHC. I thought that was extremely sweet and decided to find out more.

I'm a stay-at-home Chinese mum from Singapore with two sons (6, 18). We send them to a Christian school and the older boy has completed 12 years of education and is now doing National service (2 years) which is compulsory for male Singaporeans.

I wish to encourage you in your desire to write. Like you, I love the Lord and my passion is in writing too. However, if you don't mind, may I suggest a change of title. Perhaps you can use:

Compost... through God's eyes or
Are you Compost? or
Works of Compost or
Compost Power, etc

I think that by itself the word Compost would not give the book buyer any idea about the contents as it seems to imply a gardening item.

Since you are talking about God and creation,etc, a subtitle would be necessary.

Thanks, Ai. All suggestions and comments are very welcome. I am inexperienced and just acting on the prompting of my Lord! God always supplies the what I lack. I'm sure He will with this project as well.
