Psalm 73 and Why His Grace is Sufficient for Us
|
Another opportunity to experience Why God's grace is sufficient for today. The vertigo has threatened its well-remembered disabilitating effects on our lives. I try not to panic, and call a beloved sister in Christ. Her words lead my mind upward, away from this earth and its limited boundaries. I weep my bitter tears on her broad shoulders. She dries them with her ministering love, while she recalls a humerous story. Soon we are laughing , the day is brighter. The choice to remain, and abide in His Grace, to trust Him for this day brings me to evening devotion and Psalm 73. He answers my questions for this day. v16 When I tried to understand all this, it was oppressive to me till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. v23...you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into Glory. v25...and earth has nothing I desire besides you. v26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. v28 But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. |
