I can't make home fries to save my life, apparently. We bought 50 lbs of white potatoes for 14.00 and so far I've tried baking them ( didn't turn out right), we did something else with them that was just ok, and now I tried making home fries. I quit. I guess we will be eating MASHED potatoes for the next week or 2.

   I saw on a web site that a family of 8 spends only 350.00 a month on groceries. I do not see how they could possibly only spend that. I can could spend that in a week and we only have one more person!!

    I'm trying to figure out ways of cutting back on how much we spend. Walmart gets a large part of our money because they are so cheap and we live in a small town with few other choices. The other grocery stores are way more expensive and there are no clothing stores for kids. There is one clothing store for women and teens but that's it.

    I am almost ready for CHRISTmas except for the fact we do not have our tree up yet!!! CHRISTmas is 10 days away and we have no tree up. I don't have any other decorations, Alex is too lazy to put up lights, lol, and our kids are too destructive for indoor decorations. Ah well, we can decorate when we are grandparents. Or not, since I have told my children I hopethey all have kids JUST like them!  ;-)
