Dear Sarah,

I noticed that Mrs. Marlow didn't leave comments on your lessons and I think it is because you forgot to write a comment telling her that you have joined. She is not notified when you sign Mr. Linky so she needs you to post a comment telling her that you have finished such and such a lesson.

Oooh, good characters. No evil character?!!! ;) Are you writing a story about them?

Thank you, Saved Girl, for encouraging Sarah to leave me a comment. She did on my SuzyScribbles blog, so now I found her! I did encourage her to leave the comment on the writing workshop blog so I can go to it faster. Sometimes I don't respond to the e-mails about my main blog since I get so many comments over there. But a writing workshop blog comment gets my attention right away. :-)

These are a group of interesting characters. Are they sisters? I ask because I noticed they all have braided hair. Very unusual and fun! A couple things I'd like you to consider.
1) Slow down! This is not a race, my dear. I'd like to see a few more personality traits (I noticed there are not negative ones. Even the heroes and the heroines are not perfect. Do you characters have NO things they need to work on? Stubborn? Impatient?). Think about it.

2) in the L/D (likes/dislikes), I'm not sure if they are LIKES or DISLIKES. You combined them and didn't say if those are the things the character likes or if those are the things the character dislikes.

Just some thoughts to help you really THINK about the characters for your story. :-)

Good fix; now I know which of these things the characters LIKE and which of the things they do NOT like!

Dear Sarah,

I agree with Mrs. Marlow about slowing down. It may seem like you cannot wait to do the next lesson now but once it is all over you will miss it. I speak from personal experience. :)

Yes, Lesson 7 isn't there. Your blog says that it has 7 entries though so maybe the lesson is still in draft form. Unless of course you didn't like what you put in your lesson after you posted it and put a link to it. I did that once. :) If you click on the little smiley next to your link it will ask you if you want to delete the link.
