Ok here is lesson 6
Here are some dead words:
Small, Yummy, Clean, AAAHHH I can't think of any more!!! Sorry!!!
Now I will describe my room:)
My room has white walls which will soon be lavendar and a darker purple, my dad's laptop and keys are on my bed with a pink blanket on it which is against the wall, I have 2 callanders turned to june ( one from the creation museum and one with dog pictures.) And I have some pillows and stuffed animals in a nice looking pileish on the floor.
Jun. 4, 2008 - Lesson 6
Those are great dead words you thought of, even if you didn't think of very many. Good job...
Ah-ha! I found a few 'dead' words in your bedroom tour. Most of the time I could "see" your room---when you used specific details like colors and your dad's keys. That made a picture in my head right away. I like it!
However, what does "tidy and organized" look like? What I think is "tidy" may not be what YOU think is tidy. Same with organized. So....you need to go back to the beginning of your room tour and SHOW me "tidy and organized." use specific examples. Like, "If you walk into my room, you will find everything in its place....(then give examples like.. "My stuffed animals sit all in a row on a shelf. Dozens of books are stacked in a straight line above my headboard...)
Stuff like that. Do you understand? But other than "tidy and organized" your tour is very clear! Nice job!
Jun. 5, 2008 - O....K.....
I saw your e-mail; and you signed Mr. Linky for Lesson 7. However.....I clicked it and all I see is lesson 6. Where did you post lesson 7? I can't find it!
And I hope you are going to go back and "tweak" those other lessons in which I had suggestions for you.
