Planting the garden

We have planted most of our vegetable garden. We should be eating new potatoes soon for dinner. Yum!  But the chickens and ducks are getting in to the garden and eating up Mom's lettuce. Hopefully we will be able to put up some chicken wire around the fence.  For our bean and pea poles we used some nice "walking sticks" that we had no other use for. We also planted our pumkin and squash and zucchini between the rows of corn so they can climb up the stalk. Cool huh?

Also we have been picking dandelions and making jelly out of the flower buds. It tastes SOOO good even though it doesn't sound like it. :D

I don't think I've ever heard of Dandelion Jelly before, but I'm sure it is quite interesting! It sounds like you have a lovely garden. Someday I plan on planting a garden, but we live in a motorhome right now, so it isn't very practical!

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!
