College Sports

Living on the Air Force Academy brings us a lot more sports. I went to my first Air Force Falcons hockey game (that's right, we have our own hockey team) a couple weeks ago. It was my first hockey game and it was a blast! We won 6-0 against Bemidji State (who were constantly in the penalty box). Last Thursday, my dad, Kate, and I went to an Air Force Falcons football game against University of New Mexico Lobos. Let me tell you, the falcons can't pass to save their lives. They made only three passes: one incomplete, one intercepted, and one for a touchdown. New Mexico, on the other hand, can pass. Oh well, we still won 23-10. It was cold (in the 30s) but fun. We are looking into basketball games, more hockey games and more football games. Well, I'll be going. Good night. Sir Percy Blakeney

Sounds like fun! Hey, we got that video you sent Matt through email. It was sooooooooooooo funny!!!!! I'm gunna try to get Matt to do some thing like that!!

Hi Trey!

Yes, we sure have been getting more into sports lately too since being at the Academy, esp. football of course since dad is the chaplain. We are going to see a football game this Sat. I am looking forward to that.

Wow, it sounds like you guys are having fun! I have never been to a hockey game, but it sounds like fun. We may go to one this winter. Tonight Dad took me, Noah and Andrew to a sprint football game. It is the same thing as football, except all the guys are a lot lighter. We only stayed for half of it, but we were winning 14 to nothing when we left (against Army) Tomorrow we are going to a real Navy football game. They will be playing against Temple University. This will be my first one, so I'm excited.

OHhhhh, there was this AWESOME navy game last Saturday. We FINALLY got to go to one, and it was the best Navy game yet. They were losing 27-7 in the 4th quarter and from 9 minutes down the scored 3 touchdowns!!!! Then they went to overtime, and ended up winning! It was their biggest comeback yet! IT was really cool:-)

Sorry, you got me going when I saw the sports post:-)
