The next day was Sunday so we went to church, but afterwards I went to this thing with Nathan. It was this kinda outreach to kids and it was fun, we did heaps of games but after it was night soooo when we got back to the house.

But we went for a walk in the park, and I tried to have an acorn war but no-one but me wanted to...

 I didn’t go to sleep, I went to sleep. But then I woke up, and went back to sleep again...

Well when we woke up we drove off to some op-shop and keren ran away and we all had to look for her but someone brought her to the police sooo we left her there, jk

Then we went ice skating it was hard... coz I kept falling over coz its like standing on a knife.... but not having the knife poking into you... lol

Anywho I fell over heaps

Well for dinner we went to a restaurant with Uncle John, (yes you do know who he is.) well it was Chinese  .... And actually, it was yum!

Then we had ice creams and watched TV. We saw Fouls Kitchen it was FUNNY! And I can’t find the vid! Anywho it was made in NZ.

Well the next day Mum was going back to Waipawa and so we dropped her at the airport, Ione and Liv went with her.

Well we got all the way to Oamaru and only crashing 3426 times and hitting busses head-on 352 times and dying 32 times! So we stayed at someone’s house for the night.

Then we went to Old Oamaru town and it was freaky coz there was heaps of old shops and old stuff and old people doing old stuff oldishly but! There was new snow on the road! Only one patch... and it was actually ice, and the air was not cold! And I touched it and my finger burnt off...

Then we drove to Moeraki Boulders (they were actually huge dinosaur eggs and I stomped on one and I saw one crack and heaps of puss come out...) anywho,

Off we went to Dun Dun Dunedin Ah, yes Dunedin. Well I should tell you something about it before we go on... well actually... never mind....... ok, ok I’ll tell, its got the steepest street in the world! (and the second steepest cause they drew the map  before they saw where to place the city)

Anywho, when we drove to Dunedin it was dark and the ghosts and orcs were about! (Orcs meaning the things in hoodeys from Orcland)

So we got chased all the way up a steep hill and hid in the House-that-is-not-haunted.

Well the people were cool and warm and the fire was hot.

But! The doomfull mattress attacked! So me and this other boy kicked it down the stairs, and I had to sit on it the whole night to stop it from eating us!

(PS no, I am not a 5yo)

I am writing this post from the South Island! But first I need to tell ya about from when we left our house in the north island.

Mum and all my sisters left for Wellington first, me and Dad had to go at 5 pm coz Dad had a job to do... well Dad went to his job an I just sat around... the time was going... 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, (by now I was thinking *where is he???* so I called him up on his phone.... but he was out of range....) so time kept going... 7:30, 8:00. I thought by now that he left for Wellington without me, so I looked for something to eat.

He finally came at about 8:15 coz the job took longer that he expected, so we went off.

The next morning we all left my Grandma and Granddad’s house in Wellington and drove onto the ferry.

It was kinda boring; mostly stuff for little kids and women who want to have makeup. Going on the deck was fun, but very cold.

Soon we saw Picton, where we were gonna land. As we were driving along Dad stopped the car and shot showed us a weird house made of mud... there were no mud pies to chuck though... and there were one of those old water pump thingys but no water came out...

So far the South Island was not so different from the North Island, but then we saw.... some seals! They were very hard to spot! Coz they were grey and they sat very still.

After that we drove all the way to Christchurch. Me, Mum, the baby, and HER (Altariel my sister) stayed at the Moore’s house and the rest of the family went and stayed at a campground in a cabin.

The next day we went to see our Great Nanna but she was asleep... so we decided to go see The Cathedral.

Up, up, up, we stomped to the top of Christchurch cathedrals spike thingy.

When we got to the top Heather fell er... got pushed off the top... Just kiddin.

Anywho, we looked around and say lotsa things. Then we saw... Gandalf! Well it looked like him anywho, but it was a weird wizard who makes maps with south at the top.

Well after that we hopped into our MPV and Keren drove us up the wall and Dad drove us up a hill.

Dad was driving faster and faster and we rolled off the side on a bend and hit a tree and we all died...

Ok, ok I’ll stop,

Nah we just got some K-bars and iceblocks and then some of us climbed up the hill thingy.

The next day we went to see Great Nanna and we sat around.... it was boring... then we went to a wedding and I sat around for ages... it was boring...

Then we went back to the Moore’s and I read comics while Nathan and this other boy sat around on my laptop...

Mum and Dad were at the thingy-after-weddings-where-you-get-to-eat-heaps-of-food.

And SHE was at the campground babysitting all my sisters.

Then I fell..... Asleep...(not down, HA! Bet you fell for that one!)

Today, (well actually yesterday) my Grandma and Grandad came to our house. Grandad got his chainsaw an cut down heaps of dead trees in our paddock. I made a massive bonfire and then lit it and it went wooooosh. The flames were huge and you couldn’t stand within 2 metres of them or you would be cooked (I was cooked but I un-cooked myself). Anywho, the bonfire fell over and we couldn’t go near it to stick the branches back on. But we did when it was a bit cooler.

Later when it burnt down a bit I saw a hole in the ashes into the middle coz there was a big roll of carpet that Dad chucked on and two tree stumps and in the middle of that it looked like a volcano with lava and red hot ashes.

Did that just make any sense?

Oh and we have done the bathroom up! It’s now gold and blue on the walls, and the other stuff are brown and white.
