new ideas

well i have been praying about what to do next year and i have come up with some ideas. here is what i have come up with.

we will continue using saxon math for the boys and maybe rod and staff for hannah. not sure about rebekah.

we are going to use rod and staff for english for everyone. jamie will get the preschool series when he is ready. i'm adding queen homeschooling language arts also for hannah becuz she learns more by copying than the others do.

we will be reading lots of christian biographies. we have started amy carmichael already. i'm using the sonlight booklist for ideas.

history and science are not decided yet tho i am leaning towards a charlotte mason method, using abeka books as jumping off places.

well that's where we re at so far!

I taught for several years in our christian school using Rod & Staff! It was a blessing! So many other books are just repackaged foolishness! THen after teaching a few years I got married, homeschooled 3 and they all are high school graduates with a few years of christian college studies behind them! The years fly-so these foundational years are important! Lord bless your school days!
