This book is wonderful! I received it from Paper Back Swap (PBS). Since I'm about to start teaching from the principle approach, I'm becoming interested in what having a Christian worldview really is. I never heard of that word growing up and I'm just now learning what it is. It's totally different from everything I've learned so far, but it seems like common sense. Actually it's godly common sense. Okay, so back to the book. This book lays it all out. I've learned that big government is not God's way of ruling a nation. Over taxing the rich is not the answer. Our country was founded on godly principles of government. Even the word government is totally different in the godly term than in this worldly term. Government in the godly sense of the word refers to all forms of government: self, family, church, local, statewide and national. I've never head it put so plainly! This book is putting a lot of things into perspective for me. Now that I kow what's the right way to go, my question is what do I do about it. I know our national government is screwed up everywhere so there's no one "right" party to affiliate with....I guess I just decry the lies wherever and whenever I come across them and try to stick as close to God's Word as possible. I recommend this book to everyone! |

For instance, I always believed that dinosaurs really did live millions of years ago because that's all I was taught. If I use my godly common sense, I'd realize that is ridiculous seeing that the world is only as old as Adam (give or take a few days there)! I also used to believe that dinosaurs lived in a different time period than humans and that si also ridiculous! Didn't God make all land animals on the same day including Adam and Eve? So there's my godly common sense developing my Christian worldview which is starkly against this world's view. The questin is not what came first the chicken or the egg? The reality is that God prepared this earth first, then placed his animals and people in it to enjoy (WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!! I'm so glad He saved me so I don't have to be in the dark)!!
