Got To Love A Great Deal

We went to the thrift stores in town and I got tons of homeschool blessings. Here's what I got and every price just blew my mind, I would have been willing to pay more than I did, so I feel I really got one whopper of a deal.

~Phonics Factory- $2.99~

This was an unbelievable find!!! Thank you Lord for this find.

~Zingo- $1.99~

Great for my autistic son! Builds his vocabulary. Autistic kids do well with picture words.

~Bugs Sorting Set- $1.99~

We are studying bugs so I was so thrilled to have got this!!!

~States/Capitals Puzzle- $.99~

This was brand new, puzzle pieces still in the plastic bag.

I still can't get over the incredible prices! I love yard sales and thrifts stores, you truly can find awesome homeschool treasures!!!!!!!!!

Bugs, Bugs

Well our spring break comes to an end this weekend. Back to the old routine starting Monday. It was a much needed break and I have been able to get my bearings back to endure the rest of this year. We will have exactly 10 weeks left before we break for summer.

We will be starting our insect unit with the little boys. I bought a unit for 10 bucks from www.kinderplans.com, the unit is called Bugs, Bugs.

I printed off a bunch of stuff for free. Homeschoolshare and Lapbook Lessons have tons of material for the bugs we will be working on.
There are 7 bugs we will be focusing on ant, bee, butterfly, dragonfly, grasshopper, ladybug, mosquito. I want to buy a butterfly kit, here are some pictures of what it is:

We are looking forward to this unit, it is going to be fun to see our studies in real life. The perfect study for 2 little boys.

Beginning A New Blog, Again

I had a blog but it got deleted along with all my friends. I am re-creating my blog and hope to re-connect with those ladies I met. My deleted blog was known as Proverbs Wife & Mother. So if you recongnize the name please add yourself back to my list of friends and if this is your first time checking out our homeschool, I warmly say welcome and thank you for stopping by.

Now lets get started with me saying this blog is a spot to record our homeschoool projects, lapbooks, and activities. I will try to put links to any free material I use. My way of passing on free internet treasures I find that have blessed our homeschool and hopeful yours too. This spot will be a work in progress, so please bear with me.
