Apr. 14, 2008 - A Short Entry

Well since my Pastor announced it yesterday I figure that gives me permission to ask for prayer for his wife now!

My Pastor's wife, and most incredible woman I know, will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant the week of Apr. 21st.  She doesn't have Leukemia but an even more unusual form of bone/blood cancer which is completely impossible to pronounce.  Please just pray for her.  Chances of rejection are almost nil because it's her own marrow that's being put back in, but there's always risks with surgery, especially the possibility of infection.

More than anything pray for healing - God is a big God.  The doctors say there's no real cure but He's bigger than anything they say, so He can do it if He wills it to be so.

Thank you!

That is very interesting -- I did not realize they ever give you back your own marrow.

What a hard hard thing to undergo. I'll be praying.

Have you had a good time with your friend? Is she still with you?

Blessings,
Karen
