Apr. 24, 2008 - Any Ideas?
About what I could blog?
Do I just live an extremely boring life that I can't think of anything to share? Some things I could share I just think are too personal. Other things I could blog about are just way too mundane and boring. How about school? Well... let's see..
It's that time of year for school, for me at least, when you just can't wait for the year to be over. I know I shouldn't feel that way but I definitely feel like a break is in order. Actually a break is just around the corner as Joe is taking a week off the beginning of May. I haven't done any history in weeks - bad. I've barely done any writing assignments in about as long - even badder! :)
I'm using IEW and it's very Mommy intensive - I need to get myself to view all of the DVDS and download the lessons and get into a routine, but again at this time of year - who really wants to get into a routine - I want to get OUT of it! Is it just me? Could someone please tell me I'm not alone in this feeling? I think I may share this over at the Homeschool Lounge to see what the ladies over there think about it.
I haven't seen a good movie in ages. Any recommendations? But then, when would I watch a movie? Being the sports junky I am, by the time I watch my Astros and then if there's a Rockets' play-off game recorded - it's really late. Of course that won't be much of a problem for long once the Rockets get kicked out of the play-offs.
Update on my PW: the procedure went well and now she's resting. She's in high danger of contracting an infection and they have to be very careful with that. The recovery time is lengthy and not fun. If everything goes well she'll be out of hospital in a couple of weeks but shouldn't really be back to normal activity for several months. However my PW tends not to follow the rules for stuff like that and if anyone can be back on her feet earlier it's her.

I'm so glad to hear the good news about your pw. PTL! I'm remembering her in my prayers.
I had to laugh about what to blog about. I felt that way for about a month. Nothing exciting was happening and I didn't want to share embarrassing personal stuff.
I know what you mean about the break in school. I can't wait for summer break. It sounds bad, but this time of year sends me into "brain overload."
I haven't spent as much time as I should with science or writing lately. I'm sure I will catch up eventually. : )

I havent seen a movie in ages either...but my niece is in town this week and is harassing me to go with her on Thursday for a Pedicure and a movie...so I guess I'm about to end my streak...if we see something good, I promise to tell ya about it...actually, if you can get away your welcome to come with us.
