2nd grade (tentative)

Language:
 Spelling:  R&S (finish 2 move to 3)
 Grammar:  R&S (finish 2 move to 3)
 Literature:  VP selections + comp. guides, add in narrations
 Handwriting:  Italic B&C
 Copy work/Dictation: various selections

Bible:
 Devotion:  Vos or ESV children’s bible, catechism
 Study:  VP Judges-Kings
      
History & Geography
VP NTGR (using Easy Classical which combines VP and SOTW)
Read alouds-various sources
Map Work

Science:
Apologia Zoo 2 + Kit
Various read alouds

Math:  Horizon 2 finish this and then move on to 3

Fine Arts: 
 Art Appreciation:  Usborne Intro to Art, picture study
 Music Appreciation:  Listen to classical music
 Art Lessons:  How to Teach Art to Children,  I Can Do All Things

Fitness:  Homeschool Family Fitness, sports for kids

Other Languages: 
 Spanish:  La Clase Divertida
 Latin:  Prima Latina

Memory Work:  poems, Bible verses, general info, AWANA things etc.

This looks like a lot when written out on paper, however, we will not be doing all things everyday.  Sometime I will post a schedule.  First I need to put that schedule together!

We are doing similar things. The Easy Classical sounds great. It may have helped me when I tried to combining VP and SOTW this year.
I just love schedules too...like Heather :o)

This will be our first year using Easy Classical. I think it will help us stay on track better. I had a hard time with that this past year. Thanks for stopping by
