In The Process

Am I a Housekeeper or a Homemaker?

If I live in a house of spotless beauty with everything in its place,
I am a housekeeper, not a homemaker.

If I only have time for waxing and polishing,
my children will learn cleanliness, not godliness.

Love leaves the dust in search of a child's laugh.

Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on the newly cleaned window.

Love wipes the tears before it wipes up the spilled milk.

Love is the key that opens salvation's message to a child's heart...

_Author Unknown (I received this via a friend of a friend)

This is a great reminder to me that my children need to come before my to do list.  As someone who is slightly OCD this is very hard.  I really desire to improve in this area, many times in the past I have "cleaned the spilled milk before wiping my children's tears".   I am just very thankful that the Lord covers all of my sins and can still work in me and through me!
