My Brother in Law part 2On Sunday, May 4, 2008 my bil went home to be with the Lord. In the next few posts I plan on sharing a little bit about Hector, his wife Teresa, and the events leading up to that Sunday. In the mean time I ask for prayers for my husband and children, my father in law, numerous cousins and mostly for Teresa, his wife of only 3 weeks. (This is Hector with one of my babes) My brother-in-law
God's Everlasting Love31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be [8] against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. [9] 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amazing...I just recently found an amazing blog. This family is faced with some hard things right now but through it all you can just feel the love they have for the Lord and His will to be done in their lives. These are people I wish I could know IRL. If you have time visit their blog (click here). Prepare to cry and also to be amazed by God's grace. Blessings to all who stop by!
Jesus, Thank YouToday for communion Sunday we sang one of my favorite songs: Jesus, Thank You Chorus: By Your Perfect Sacrifice I’ve Been Brought Near This song is so awesome! Thank you Jesus for washing away my sin!
In The ProcessThe first entry...oh what to write?.... First I will explain the title of my blog "In the Process". Through Jesus' death on the cross I am justified before God. I am still "in the process" of being sanctified. This idea is such a comfort to me! There are many days when the weight of trying to be perfect has me very down. Yet when I look to the cross and realize that Jesus is my perfection and I don't need to be perfect I rejoice greatly. I am so thankful that I am "in the process" of becoming like my Lord! Thank you Jesus for being my sin bearer! Blessings to all! |
