After a wonderful vacation at Priest Lake we are home.  As my now 7 year old likes to say "Home is the nicest word there is".  We had a great time swimming, playing games and relaxing yet it is nice to be home, sleeping in our own beds knowing there are no mice crawling around!  I'll try and post pictures of the kiddos and the beautiful cabin and lake later.

Now I just need to get the laundry done, plan school for next year, weed the garden, take care of my horrible sunburn ,  and declutter the house!  Anyone want to help?

Priest Lake

We leave Sunday for our family vacation to Priest Lake.  I'll be back next weekend.  When I do get back I must start planning/scheduling next years school.  I still need to order a few more things also yikes!

Our 4th of July Vacation

We are home from our 4th of July vacation!  We were at my cousin's lake house which is in Liberty Lake, WA (only 20 minutes from our home.)   Oh what a wonderful time we all had, despite the 100 degree weather!  The kids had a fabulous time playing with cousins and friends, swimming, building sand castles, staying up late, going for boat rides and sleeping in bunk beds. Emma and Eli even had a chance to go tubing! Oscar and I had a great time relaxing and fellowshiping with family and friends.  We were spoiled by my cousins.  They fed us, watched the kids for us and they let us stay a few days longer than we had originally planned!  Now we are back to the real world.  Oscar is at work and I am at home doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms and other housework things.   Now I can't wait for our next vacation in 2 weeks to Priest Lake, ID. 

Independence Day

We are off for our mini-vacation.  Every year we go to my cousin's house for the 4th of July.  The kids get to hang out at the lake, watch the parade, play with cousins and just have a great time.  We as adults enjoy having a vacation where we can kick back relax, and get caught on the happenings with some extended family.   I hope everyone has a splendid Independence Day!
