Hello!  A while back I had started a blog of the same name (Second Generation), but because of time constraints and other issues I just couldn't keep up with it anymore so I deleted it.  I've now decided to start over with a new blog to chronical my journey into motherhood and eventually the beginnings of homeschooling.

Why "Second Generation"? That's easy.  I was homeschooled from 1st grade on and I will be homeschooling our children, thus they will be second generation homeschoolers. My husband was homeschooled for Kindergarten and then went to public school, but he is very supportive and desirous of homeschooling our kids. 

My husband and me were married on December 15, 2006, so have been married for 19 months now.  We found out just before our 18 months "anniversary" that we were expecting our first baby! I'm now a little over 10 weeks pregnant and very excited!  It has been a struggle waiting for this blessing, but I do know that it happened in God's perfect timing.   So our first little homeschoolee is on the way ;).  To be honest, I can't wait until he/she is old enough to start school!  But then I also can hardly wait until he/she gets here! :D
