And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God...

• Apr. 17, 2006 - AF turned 7months over the weekend

AF is now on the move!!  Not exactly crawling, but sort of an army type of scooting using his elbows and feet to propel himself forward.  I liken it to someone in the desert trying to use all his strength to get to the oasis.  Still not sitting up, but can get anywhere he wants in the house and is amazingly fast.  Enjoying bagels, tortillas, biter biscuits and baby food.  Moving toys from one hand to another though he prefers to play with anything on the floor that isn't a toy (especially magazines & catalogs).  Delights in pulling socks off his feet so I hope the weather warms up soon.

That is about when my son started rolling over. Since he was my first I was so concerned because all the other babies were rolling over at 3 months. I honestly thought he was slow mentally. I even to took hin to the DR. to ask just about that. He said it was because he was so big. Anyway........6 years later he is doing schoolwork of the average 6th grader. Oh man, it still cracks me up to think that I thought he was slow. ROTFLOL.

It's so amazing how quickly they grow, isn't it? My baby RL will be 7 months old tomorrow, so I can totally relate to your baby post! She can sit up well, but isn't crawling--just pushes herself backwards & gets stuck places! It's pretty funny, but frustrating for her, of course. All of my kids did this, so I'm trying to reassure her that it's just a phase!
