My baby birds made a birdhouse as a part of science class.  We have been learning from Apologia's Zoology 1 book, and have really enjoyed this indepth study of birds. 

The last chapter we completed was on nesting... each chapter ends with a hands on project of some kind... and this one included the plans to build a simple birdhouse...
