I am often surprised by things when they turn out the way that they are supposed to.... maybe I don't give myself enough credit, but then I also know myself well enough to know that I tend to be too quick and not cautious or careful when it comes to the details.

Any way....

I just pieced my first quilt top.  I didn't follow the directions because they didn't make sense, and it actually came together better than I thought it would.  I think I made an effort to pay attention to details, but then again it is just a blanket that I'm going to hang on the wall....
