Degrees (June 16, 2008)
Let's play house,
me with a diamond ring,
you in a nice black suit.
Kiss you goodbye every morning,
clean the house wearing my apron.
Come home in time,
for my 5 course dinner,
that I spent all afternoon preparing.
Watch T.V. before bed,
Set my hair in rollers,
kiss you goodnight,
and go to our seprate beds.
And lucky for us,
every day we get to wake up,
And do it all over again.
Living in this blissfull doll life,
working so hard at perfectly
playing house.
Break Up (June 24, 2008)
Calm gentle waves,
beckon me out to sea
Sky and ocean met,
a soft touch of worlds.
but as I go further out,
the waves become higher
and the pull of the tide,
stronger,
I am getting swept away.
I thrash about,
begging,
screaming to be rescued.
Then,
all hope is gone as I
lose sight of land.
I slowly sink into the depths,
darkness
I close my eyes and let go.
But then,
strong arms grasp me and
I am yanked from my watery grave,
air enters my gasping lungs
and sand grits on my back
as I am layed to rest.
And I am alive again. |
