I think its neat that a fellow blogger started the poetry contest and it's inspiring kids to write! Your Haiku's are excellent.
I also enjoyed reading about your trip to the Rock Museum - I would love to see some photos of that.

I've chosen the winners and it wasn't easy. In the adult category you win. I have to tell you that the very day you wrote your Haiku I was thinking to myself that It was odd that know one had referenced God in some way in their haiku. Then I got your entry and I knew it was the winner. Congratulations.

In the kids category, there are really two haikus I just loved and couldn't choose between the two so I'm giving away two Adventures in Odyssey Cd's. Your son gets one.
