Wordless Wednesday: Another postcard from Thailand...I'm hoping that these hills tribe children's faces will remind you about Operation Christmas Child :) (please see my post, "Pencil with a Purpose" below)
We are participating in OCC. We had a young single lady about 3 years bring the program to the attention of our church and volunteer to take on the responsibility of it. We have grown from just collecting 50 or so boxes 3 years ago to being a collection point this year with a goal of 4000.. Praise God!
God bless,
Sallie

LOL. The little girl on the end picking her nose is priceless. I can remember Ashley and a girlfriend of hers had an awful habit of picking their noses.....and eating it. Ewww. I sat them both down one day and said, "Girls, do you realize that burgers are nothing more than dirt mixed with the snot in your nose? And you know what lives in dirt, don't you?" They both looked at me puzzled. I said, "worms live in dirt, so basically, you are eating dirt, snot, and worms when you eat a booger." LOL. It broke them quick!
This is a place for me to relax a bit, recount my blessings, reflect on God's Word, record my thoughts, reassure others of God's love, receive others' insights, recall precious memories, relate what the Lord has done in my life & my family, rejoice at God's goodness & faithfulness, relish writing, recycle my poems, and refresh myself.
