My uncle got a deer on thanksgiving.
he was SO HAPPY.

be a storm on Friday - Sunday. Not only here but
like everywhere. It's in California right now.
so you will be getting snow soon.

I haven't had venison in a long time.
My family doesn't hunt. so.... yeah.
we don't really have any.
My uncle is going to be making
some venison jerky though.

OH! That reminds me of something!

Our church holds this event called a Wild Game Dinner.
As in wild game food not wild games. lol.
(The venison reminded me of this)
Well.. as I was saying... there is about 300+ men and boys that attend this thing. They all bring a dish to pass (Obviously some kind of game)
There's also a bunch of girls there that wait on the guys (including me). We all wear there bright orange aprons.
It's pretty awsome. So once you guys have filled up on food then there's a drawing for prizes and stuff like that.
So us girls get to eat whatever is left over.
I've had: Deer, rabbit soup, muskrat, heart (i can't remember from what), bear (that is STRONG meat), and alligator. and lots of other stuff. but yeah. it's just lots of fun. It would be totally worth going too. *hint*

Actually.... (by any chance) if your family has something up in NY that they want to do in March (I think the WGD is held in March), you should totally come to it.
I can give you the info on it when i comes out if you would like. but only if you think it's a possibility that you could come.

OMGosh... other long comment. lol. I didn't even mean for it to be this long. I got myself going on the Wild Game Dinner and couldn't stop! lol.

Oh my goodness! That's AWESOME! I shot a buck this year too.... expect it hardly even really classifys as a buck because it's was only a button buck.....
My dad shot 3 deer..... one doe, a 5 point, and a buck that only had one antler..... lol.
