God has been giving us some awesome weather here in KY.  It seems more like summer here.  We are having to watch close for ticks.  They are already wild around here.  I am amazed by how fast everything just popped out.

We are still just finishing up school and cleaning in here.  Nothing major going on.  The only thing that we can do for Paul is make sure the place looks good when he gets here.  That makes him feel good.  I also try to fix him home cooked meals while he is here.  I know he gets sick of eating out.  YUCK!

I have a couple of gingerbread houses that we haven't put together yet.  We may do that today too.  My guys are wanting to spend too much time on the computer and I want them away.  That is one idea and walking is another.

I just got an invitation to a birthday party.  My Uncle JOE is turning 80.  We are going there the Sunday before Memorial Day.  I am excited about that.  A lot of my family will be there that I haven't seen in a long time.  We are all so spread out and scattered.

I also need to start thinking about the big birthday bash for this year.  I think most of you know that our boys were born the same day, one year apart.  We try to have a huge cookout or something.  Last year, we went to Florida for a week.  I know that is out of the question this year.  Paul just started a job, so he doesn't get a vacation for a bit.  Hmmmmmm, I need to think on this one.

I'm so happy you came and left a comment. I was sorta thinking since we'd met in person we haven't talked very much. Everything is great here..love the warmer, drier weather oh, and the ticks are bad here already too...I've pulled two out of my head and one out of Gerald's. You know that post was your 300th!!!! You should do something special for that. How is your family doing? Take the boys to the Nashville Zoo and let them join in with the rest of the monkey's for their birthday, they would love that. Just kidding.

Yea, we are fighting the ticks here too already. Scary since our dog got that tick disease in the fall. Can't do much til the rain is done though. Have a great weekend.

The birthday bash sounds like a lot of fun. Don't you just love the Spring weather. It's been so beautiful here, too. I just want to be outside all the time. Our irises are blooming and it's just gorgeous!
