Mondays are usually slow days??? Not today!

Posted in Family

Hello

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Ours was busy.

I want to ask for prayer first for a friend.  He had a motorcycle wreck on Saturday and has really bad road burn.  He isn't a great patient, so we hope he stays in the hospital for a bit.  He is 28.  He will need lots of prayer.  He is very sore right now and he has a lot of open wounds.  They will take a while to heal and it will be quite painful.

We worked Friday on getting things ready to sell this week.  Saturday was a picnic for a company in our town.  We do the grilling.  That went really well.  We kept them in lots of food.  We were here when we found out about the motorcycle wreck above.  We got home late after going to the hospital.  That pretty much finished out Sat.  We worked most of the day yesterday and got a lot done.  We had to make a trip to Cookeville, TN last night for parts.  While we were there, my hubby took me to Olive Garden.  He loves me so much.  That is one of my favorites. YUUUUMMMMMM!!!  I ordered a Chicken Alfredo with broccoli and we of course got all the yummy salad and breadsticks we could eat.  Paul got a plate called A Taste of Italy.  It had lasagna, fettucine alfredo and a chicken parmesian.  It was good.

That brings us to today.  Usually Monday is kinda spent a little lazier than the other days.  We just kinda kick back with school and don't push as hard on Monday so we can re-coop from the weekend.  Today won't be like that.  Paul is still here.  We will be working on some more things to sell and getting things loaded.  Paul has an appt. at 1 today to get a tooth pulled (hopefully it isn't to bad to pull).  We will then come back home and go back to work.  We get to set up the tent and starting setting things up bright and early tomorrow morning.  And that will start our wild week of the Roller Coaster Yard Sale.

I desperately need my Lemon Zinger Tea this morning.

If you haven't tried it, it's awesome.  The lemon wakes me up in the morning.  I use raw sugar in mine to make it a little sweet.  I am trying to cut down on it some.  You could also use honey if you like.  I love it.  I had a kidney infection a few weeks ago and I quit drinking coffee.  I don't even like the smell or taste of it now, so I found this and it is caffeine free.  WooHOO!

Guess I better get going.  Have a best blessed day!  HUGS!

About me

I am a happy wife and mom to 2 boys that were born the same day, one year apart. I love my life here in KY even if I can't get milk late at night. Things are changing dramatically in our life and we are waiting on God right now to show us which way to go. God is so good.
