Are you enjoying your day?
That was a loaded question. We had to stop at the beginning of our school day and have a 5 minute, get rid of the bad attitude moment. As I was coming in here to make a post, I found this graphic and it hit me. We made a choice to do better. We could have kept the ugly, rotten, I don't want to, I don't care, I dislike this attitude and still done what we had to do. We, unfortunately, have done that before. For some reason, God really intervened today and showed us a different way to take care of this problem. Thank you Lord. We got rid of the icky, yucky "tudes" and have been nice to each other and ---get this--- we are getting our work done so much better. I guess you all know this but today was my day to relearn. I guess you can teach an old dog mom new tricks. YAYYY!!!
We were so blessed last night to have a visit for a couple of hours from hubby (daddy to others). He got to drop by here, eat, shower and then leave again. We at least got to visit with him, talk his ear off and just enjoy his presence. That was terrific.
We have 2 presents already here for the boys for Christmas. I am so happy. I hate waiting till the end and it seems like we always do. I am over a month ahead. I just have to deal with all the things that we need to do for our family dinner and Christmas. No problem. By the way, Jackie, what do you need for Christmas this year. I don't need towels. I am thinking of what we could trade. Any ideas? For everyone else - My sister in law and I get each other something every year. The rest of the adults don't do this. It is special for me and her. We have been doing either bathroom towels or kitchen towels or sets. That is something that you either forget, don't want to spend money on right now or just wear to the point of no return. So we decided to do get a gift for each other of something that we normally wouldn't get unless we just needed it or had to break down and get it. I always look forward to exchanging something with her. She is an awesome sis.
Better get math checked. Have a blessed day! HUGS!
