The beauty we woke up to this morning
This is pictures from our door this morning. I thought it was beautiful. The good part was that it seemed all the ice was on the trees and not on the roads so much.

and one final pic. This little guy was making lots of noise out there. A few minutes later, there were about 10 of them and a red bird.

Even with the ice, you can't deny the beauty of God. Kentucky is a different kind of place to live. Our weather is wild here. One day last week, we were freezing then the next day, it was in the 60's and now this. You just never know. I have figured out how to tell the weather. Send Bob out:
*if you see his shadow, the sun is shining
*if he gets wet, it is raining
*if his hair starts moving, the wind is blowing
and if he bucks up and won't go outside, then refer back to the pictures above.
We did something odd today. Normally, we do school, even when public school gets snow days. Well, guess what??? We took a snow day today and just bummed around. IT FELT GOOD. I didn't even think twice.
My honey gets to come home and spend the night tonight. That is always an awesome treat. He will be leaving in the morning for Alabama. We need to "tidy" up a bit lot before he gets home. (Remember the above statement about the snow day) Have a best blessed night. HUGS!

A couple of weeks ago we had freezing fog. Everything was covered in thick frost that kept building up on itself. Then the next week, it was in the 60s and this week we have snow! It certainly keeps things interesting.
