Today was an exciting day in our household.  My two youngest (and a friend) got their ears pierced this morning at Wal-Mart.  Sarah’s friend was afraid to get hers pierced alone, so they did it together.  Since Sarah was getting hers done, I decided to get Camille’s pierced too.  This was not Sarah’s first time.  About 3 years ago, she had her ears pierced, but infection set in and the holes had to close up to heal properly.  The older girls did great!  Then it was Camille’s turn…

Camille was fine until I put her into the chair.  She decided right then and there she didn’t like whatever was about to happen!  I had to hold her in my lap in order for them to mark the spots to pierce.  Then, I was assigned the mean-mommy job.    With my left arm, I clutched her arms; with my right arm, I braced her head.  They counted to three and almost pierced them simultaneously.  Boy oh boy did she holler.  Afterwards, she cried whenever she saw anyone wearing a blue vest.  *LOL*

Oh, my goodness, I can't believe how big Camille is getting!!! The girls are so cute! LOL @ Camillie crying whenever she saw someone in a blue vest. You may have to start shopping at Target! lol
