DH had oral surgery on Friday morning, so this has been a weekend of recovery around here. He's about to go crazy from cabin fever. This is torture on him - to have to lay low and rest for more than a couple of hours. We've been out riding and running errands, but in his head, he's thinking about all the things he needs to be doing this weekend. LOL He's got it bad.
Meanwhile, his recovery is going okay. He tried to do more today since he was feeling a little better, so he decided to try OTC ibuprofen this afternoon in lieu of the Rx med. Man, did he paid for it tonight. Now, he's in quite a bit of pain (and swollen) on the left side. He went ahead and took a prescription pill to carry him through the night. He wants to get off the Rx and take something less strong. [Rachel, if you'd be so kind to give me some good natural remedies...I'd so appreciate it].
I hope he'll be much better by Monday, because he couldn't stand to be laid up any more days than necessary. Poor guy. He's not used to pain like this. Good thing he never has to go through natural childbirth!! |
