This has not been the best week for us. Sarah and Camille keep taking turns with this virus (we’ve gone through almost 2 bottles of children’s ibuprofen already).  I sure hope this all passes soon.

School has actually gone well, despite the illnesses and everything else. We will enter our study of the American Revolution next week and plan some great field trips for the next month or so. Sarah told me today that long division is now “a piece of cake”. :-) That is so good to hear, since that was her first stumbling block in math so far. I told her that she can conquer all her future hurdles with patience and practice. I know I’ll have to remind her of this victory many times in the years to come. Rachel has been full of attitude this week (likely due to my blues too). We had a heart-to-heart today. We’ll see how next week pans out.

I just received my new issue of Homeschooling Today today and there is an article titled “Discover Your Child’s Calling!”. I cannot wait to read it because this is one of my main goals of Hsing. I’ll share my findings later. Take care...
