This Week's Goals - 1/29/07

Posted in Home Schooling

Goals for this week (Thanks for the idea, Nadine):
  1. I will be more patient with Rachel as she begins learning to focus without the aid of meds.
  2. I will not force the Lifepacs on Rachel in their entirely, but only focus on the topics that are practical for her.  In its place, she can enjoy casual reading.
  3. I will reward the good work equally or more than I penalize the mistakes.
  4. I will read the bible and pray daily for strength.
  5. I will be in bed by 10:30 each night and stick to my exercise program.
  6. I will drink 48-64 ozs of water per day.

Thanks for commenting on my blog the other day! I've enjoyed looking around yours this morning!

I liked your "ABC's" post. I might have to do that on my blog!

Have a great day and all the best on reaching your goals for the week! My week is so crammed that my goal is to simply make it to Friday--make that Sunday--we have a basketball tournament this weekend!

Hi! I just stopped by to thank you for your comment on my blog. Your words were wonderfully comforting and encouraging all at the same time. Thank you.

I've also enjoyed browsing through your blog. Rachel sounds so creative. It's hard to let them "have their head" so to speak, at this age. You know what you need her to learn for high school and she knows what she wants to learn, sometimes. My oldest was alot like this. Not necessarily the creative one, but definitely too smart for his own good. Just about anything he tried, he did well. Makes it difficult to make life choices that way. He's 18 and just starting to figure it out, so don't worry, you are not alone. You're on my prayer list!
