Last week was great.  We did quite a bit of traveling, visiting St. Louis first.  Well, actually it was a field trip.  The Lewis and Clark State Historic Site is a few miles north of St. Louis, but the added bonus was the Lewis and Clark museum at the arch!  It was fabulous.  We took tons of pictures – and we learned a lot.  I had no idea the museum would be there, plus it was free!  Afterwards, we visited the state historic site and it was just as wonderful.  We drove around to the point of departure and I was awe-struck that I was standing where the two rivers meet and where the Corp of Discovery began.  We plan to scrapbook the trip soon.

After our St. Louis visit, we visited family in Indianapolis (about 3 hours away) and then Chicago (2 hours from there).  The trip was nice.  We saw many friends and family, and it was a nice time away from our routine.

Now, we’re back home and ready to finish up our last 7 weeks of school.  Today went very well.  I had no idea where we were at first - since it’s been 2 weeks since we did school (testing week, then Spring Break).  But we jumped right in and the girls had no trouble getting back on track.

My husband may be taking a new job with his company.  It is a promotion of sorts, but still in an area he’s very familiar with.  This was presented to him suddenly…today.  They’d like to act quickly, so after only 3 months in his current position, he may be doing something different within a few weeks.  Please keep us in your prayers – as this will be a relocation.
