My Millie

Camille is always so cheerful and care-free. That's really something, considering that she's the one child with the most discomforts. I just found out Friday that, in addition to her eczema flareups and recurring ear infections, she's got asthma too. I know that she will probably outgrow all these conditions, but I'm constantly having to pin her down for something: putting drops in her ears, applying cream to her rashes, aspirating her nose (not fun!), etc. After a few moments of displeasure, you'd never know her discomforts by the way she plays, smiles, and laughs all day - in spite of it all. She inspires me. I should be more like Camille in that way.  |
