We're All Moved In

Greetings from Tennessee!! We’ve moved in and are almost settled in our new house. It’s been quite a journey getting to this point, but things are calming down a little. I don’t want to re-live the specifics, so I’ll just say I’m glad to be back online…with the move almost behind me.
I’ve missed reading everyone’s blog. I’ll have to catch up and post some comments now that my DSL is back up and running.
By the way, the big news is…Rachel will continue to be home schooled… through high school is the plan. It’s going to be a real challenge, but HEY, the Lord will see me through it. I’m actually looking forward to the upcoming year. I have to order one book, then we’ll start some time in August. I’m thinking somewhere around the 20th. If you use or have used The Mystery of History, please let me know. I’m planning to use it with Rachel this year for her World History credit. I’d love to hear your review.
It's great to be back!

We moved earlier this year, too. My biggest challenge was trying to find the homeschool books one week after moving in!

Welcome back! I've missed you! I'm glad your getting settled in though and will be back in full force soon.
We have used Mystery of History and are using it again this year along with The Story of the World and A Beka World History. I tend to use a little it of this and a little bit of that, kind of like my cooking, lol. The projects in Mystery of History are excellent because they have something for every grade level.
And, yes, I think it could be pretty cool if Rachel and Colleen got together. I'll send you a link to her blog. RIght now Jared and Colleen are "patiently" waiting for me to play a game, lol. I better run.

Hey!
So glad you are back up and running!
We do use MOH, but my oldest is 5th grade. I think it has great ideas for older kids to research, though, and it should work well. You could use it with Sarah, too, easily.
I'm glad to hear your decision about continuing with her. It will be hard and you will grow i am sure. These decisions keep us on our knees.

I'm glad you're all settled and up and running. And so glad to hear about your decision regarding Rachel's school. It might be difficult, but we're all here if you need us. Have faith; it will be for the best.
