Today, we took a field trip to the Memphis Zoo.  It is fantastic!!!  Quite honestly, it puts other zoos I’ve visited to shame.    We met some other homeschoolers from nearby and had a blast.  This was Camille’s first time visiting a zoo.  She says she liked the elephants, bears, giraffes, and tigers best.  My favorite exhibits were the Chinese panda bears and the polar bears.  They had a great variety of species from all over the world.  I learned a lot – especially about sea lions and pandas. 

Rachel and Sarah liked all the exhibits.  Rachel was my photographer..  Didn’t she do a great job?  They both met some really nice, friendly girls.  They hung out the entire time.  Hey…I think there may be a friendship or two in the making.

Memphis is a beautiful city in which to tour. We lived there many years ago and I cannot remember if we went to the zoo. Lovely photos.

OOOO...looks like fun! Glad they met some nice girls!

Our moving back to Vegas was interesting how it came about. I mentioned it to DH and he said "OMG are you serious? Not 5 minutes ago I was feeling the same thing." My eyes got really big and I was really excited.
Then, when we came home, Kevin saw our maintenance man, Monty, and he walked up to Kevin and said, "So when are you guys moving to Vegas?"

Kevin was like, "Man, what are you talking about? Ain't nobody moving to Vegas." (He was trying to test him, I guess)
Monty said, "Man don't give me that ****. When are you guys moving?!"
Needless to say, Kevin was shocked at the confirmation that God brought to us through, of all people, the maintenance man!

So, do we KNOW it's God...of course!!!

I love the Memphis Zoo!
We might just have to stop there on our TN trip next month.
Yep, its way better than the zoo we have here.

You need to get that girl in a photography class! Looks like you're having great springtime weather there. It's still trying to decide whether it should be winter or spring here in CO. Today was in the 60s; tomorrow they're calling for snow! Anyway, y'all look great and sounds like you met some nice people. Sorry I missed your B-day...happy belated.
