I would like for our Homeschool Fridays to be well, not so "academic". So, what I'll be doing is letting that be their art, music, sports day and other "extra" stuff.
Since we will not be covering Reading, Writing, Math etc. can I still count that as a school day?????
Hope that's not too silly of a question!!!!!!

Shay
*Jen, don't you dare make any "funny" comments about my record keeping question! (hehehehe) |

Art, music, gym/P.E., are all legitimate subjects in public school and even cooking/cleaning/chores can be counted as school under the category of "life skills!" (In high school you get credits for it...they just call it Home Ec.)
I also count outside activities as 'school' (piano lessons, dance classes, swimming lessons, etc.... and family outings to places like zoos or museums are counted as field trips and marked as a school day.)
God Bless,
