"Organized" Chaos

| There is not a doubt in my mind that this "little" guy did some serious growing this weekend. I - AM - HUGE! I look like I'm smuggling a basketball around under my shirt. Which brings me to a pet peeve......anyone who has been pregnant in the last 5 years will know what I am takling about. Who on earth is designing maternity shirts now days???? I can't find any shirts that are long enough to actually cover my expanding belly past week 30. I feel like a grumpy old man with my belly sticking out in front of me and this continuous breeze blowing around up my shirt. I am constantly tugging and pulling to no avail. It's bad enough that the larger my belly gets, my shirt is farther and father away from my lower body, but does it really have to leave 3 inches of belly showing above my pants? Trust me when I say, as beautiful as I think a woman looks pregnant, the bare midrift style is NOT a flattering one in the third trimester. I figure the same person who designed maternity pants below the belly (which are indeed more comfortable) must be the same person skimping on the material in shirts. Who knows, maybe there is a world-wide cotton shortage I'm not aware of............................. |
