Jul. 23, 2008 - First thing in the morning
Today we are going to church. When we woke up ,first thing in the morning we went out to our grandmothers house to pick beans.There were a lot of them. Our grandmother has a gigantic garden. So it was a lot of work. We spent a lot of time in the garden. It started making my neck hurt. Even though I woke up with every thing in my body hurting. I am on my grandmothers computer right now. My little sister wants me to watch TV with her ,and I'm visiting my grandmother so I need to get off bye every one.

Apr. 24, 2008 - just today
Today we were at nana's.We played then we rested. so nana needed to go to town. So while she was at the grocery store ,we were at Amys. We played with her kittens. We also played apples to apples. Then we had to go back to nana's house. So I had an experment. It was called volcano in a bottle. First you put baking soda till it covered the bottom, then you put 2 drops of dish washing soap and poured it in the bottle and it boiled out all over the place, so you best do it in the sink. So then we went outside and played . Then the puppies had to use the bathroom. so we took them out. Now it is suppertime and I have to get off. ....bye

Apr. 23, 2008 - today we went to nana's
This morning we had oatmeal .it was good. We also went to get daddy's truck. We saw many cars and really old cars. So as usual , daddy took a long time there because there were cars and someone to talk to about cars. Then he finally got done and drove off. So then it was lunch time and we went to sonic , so that took a little while to cook. So we waited and then it came out. Then we went to Walmart and got some church clothes. Then we went to Ronnie Lays car shop. He said Tonia, you have to paint this car. So then we went home and uncoverd the garden. So then we did some chores and cleaned. Well , I wasn't feeling so well. I laid down . Mom said I had a sore throat. Then it was time to go to nana's house. Well nana was tired, so we didn't go to church. Me and emma made a fire. then it became dark so we went inside and drew. So it was bed time... now I have to go to bed ...bye.

Apr. 14, 2008 - today
Today for breakfeast we had oatmeal. Then we went to do school. In Science, we learned about tiny water life. In math, I learned the same thing adding & multiplation. In english, I leared interrogative and imperative, exclamatory and that is all. Then lunch came & I had to fix it. So I did. Then we did some major cleaning on the house. I was wore out. So then we went up stairs. Then we did some cleaning on the room. So now mom is fixing potatoes, beans, corn bread for supper. Now we are going two eat. bye

Dec. 20, 2007 - Christmas Wreath
I helped my mommy with the Christmas wreath. It was fun! Me and momma also put bows on it.
5 more days till Christmas! I know its a little to early but merry Christmas!

Dec. 20, 2007 - Hello Everybody
My name is Shelby. I just turned nine on the 12th. This is my first year of homeschool. My mom was a nurse and quit her job to stay home with us. I have a sister named Emma, she is 7. I started this blog to meet other homeschooled kids. I don't know very many and would love to make new friends. Send me a message and let me know how you like being homeschooled and the different things you do throughout the day. Mom's trying all sorts of different things to make it easier on us. It's still a big change being in public school through the second grade then being homeschooled.
