WE'RE BACK! Amsterdam has welcomed us back with a beautiful blue sky. We left a stark Netherlands winter in March and have come back to leaf-covered trees and still a little European summer left to enjoy.

The flight went well, I couldn't have asked for better! All the connections went without a hitch and we enjoyed relative peace the majority of the time spent in those crampt airplane conditions. When we turned up in Amsterdam our luggage had decided there was too much to see in London so had made a detour on us lol. So we are three suitcases down. The upside was that when the cases eventually turn up they will be delivered to us by BA. That has meant that after such a long flight we haven't had to lug 3 suitcases onto trans and trams to come home!

We are together again as a family! Marcel has taken off with the girls this morning on MY new bike to pick up Michael's new wheels. So picture Jasmine being dinked on the bike with Marcel and Samantha being dinked by Craig! (I hope to have photos soon!!)

We are currently staying in the apartment upstairs from Esther and Craig. The owners have kindly said we can stay here while they are on holidays. The apartment has three levels and a patio up on the roof for summer BBQs.
