It's 4 p.m. and I'm not sure how much more I can get done outside today! I've had four "sessions" outside in the front yard, did most of school with Emme (we'll finish in the evening), did two loads of laundry, have the dishwasher running, have two different dinners cooking, refilled the birdfeeders in the backyard, watered the flowers in the front and lots of weed-pulling, bush-trimming, and rock spreading. I could use a nap!
After the fiesta beef and rice is done, I think I will go to my room and read/recuperate for an hour. The food smells good, I'm hungry! I have great northern beans, onion, potatoes, ham, and chicken stock in the crock pot -- but that won't be done for several hours.
If pansies are annuals, why do they sometimes come up again? I have several in my front yard and the side of my house and my mom has some too. Is it because the seeds from last years' plants planted themselves and they are just now coming up for the first time? I confuse easily.
I do love pansies though. I love so many flowers; I go crazy when I go to places that sell them. I love, love, love gerbera daisies, zinnias, black-eyed susans, tiger lilies, etc. etc I could go on forever.
Well, my attention is needed over at the stove.
