• Mar. 9, 2006 - Update on my grandma

My grandmother ended up having a shoulder replacement and her humerus pinned and plated.  The morphine they gave her really made her, well, out of her mind.  She kept ripping out the tubes and demanding to go home.  She is getting better though.  She will be going to a nursing home for a few weeks while she heals, and then moving in with my Aunt Susie (her youngest).  She took the news of recovering in a nursing home quite well.  We were all worried about that as she is very independent.

praying for your grandmother as she goes through the healing process. I don't know how I missed seeing that you lived in MI. How far from Holland are you? That is where we moved from. I understand the cold gray sky. We are enjoying the sunshine down south.

Morphine is such a scary thing, it makes people do weird things. I hope she'll be better soon.

Praying that your grandma will quickly recover and God will give her strength for each day.

Please drop by Crystal's blog at
http://crystalstarrs.blogspot.com/
She is really feeling down and needs prayer for herself and Emily.
Candace also needs continued prayer. Her website is www.candacejoy.org
Thanks.

Blessings,
