Well I know I am long overdue with an update, so I will try to get one done real fast here before the boys wake up.
I have been so busy this week, I am in my last few days of my incentive period with Usborn Books and am working for a total of $200 in free books! That's a gift from Usborne, on top of my commission. I should be there before Monday, which is my deadline. I had a party Tuesday evening and one Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening I had company! My Uncle and Aunt from Kansas came for supper with their son, my cousin, who lives about 6 miles from us. They were here visiting them for a few days and then going on east to visit their daughter. It was really good to see them again and we had a good evening.
Yesterday I had to run some errends, I picked up some more orders so I could close a show from last Friday, went to a new Credit Union and opened an account, ours is 1/2 hour away so it's rather unhandy. So I got a savings opened and a checking for my business, and Todo and I both need to go in and open a joint account for our personal stuff. But the hardest part is done. Then I had to take money to the Credit Union Service Center here to go into our current checking for the parties I'm closing right now. And to Meijer to get a camera for this weekend. Our camera gave out a year ago and we've been living on other peoples pictures they give us and dissposable cameras, so with some of my Usborne commission, I bought a new digital camera. I haven't gotten the software downloaded and ready to put pictures on the computer yet, but will share some pictures when I get that done.
The sun finally came out yesterday, but it's still chilly so I couldn't set my tomato plants outside, but put them on a table in front of the patio doors and the got some good warm sun. They're looking perkier! Looks like the sun is out again today! It's been raining for over a week!
Berylac will be 4 tomorrow so we plan to take him to the Zoo. He's never been to a zoo, and has been wanting to go so bad. We're not telling him we're going, we're just going to take him and surprise him. I bought him a couple Usborne Books and the Dinasaur Snap game from Usborne. We'd like to get him a little bicycle and helmet, but not sure yet what we're getting him. He wants a Gordon Train cake, so I'll use my Thomas cake pan and just make him green. And I'll have to figure out what number Gordon is so I can change the number on the cake too. However, today he said he wanted a Dinasuar cake and I don't have a dinasaur cake pan, so we'll see......I may go in search of a rental store. Or I may just stick with Gordon.
And so our life in the Shire goes on........ |
Busy lady....have a great weekend! The zoo is my favorite place to spend the day! I love the safari ride at FWCZ. :)
