First Chapter of an untitled book

"There is alot of terrorist type activity going on here in the Sahara." Captian James king of the U.S spec ops said pointing on the map. "We'll be invading in three hours meet  me at the helicopter hanger then." "Yes sir," replied private David Peirce as James walked away. Gloomily David sat, opend his wallet and looked at a picture of his family as he always did before a mission. He looked around at all the other soldiers how excited the young ones with no family looked and how terified the older ones did. "Just another day at the office," he thought as he got in uniform. Three hours pass so fast when you're thinking about life and death. "All aboard," James said as David climbed in. After a small explanation of what they were dealing with, the hellicopter flew to Sahara. Several boring hours passed by and they were on the ground and the hunt began. Inch by inch they scowered the dessert looking for any sign of terrorist camps. "I'ts so hot," James stated. " I think we can take a breather." They pulled out there cantiens and sat in the sand. "What's that?" David asked. It was a huge blast of smoke and then a wave of sand came hurtling towards them. " Sandstorm!" said a muffled voice because the sand was upon them.
