Hey everyone,
I know, I know, I haven't written in a while but I have a good reason. Well......maybe it's a good reason. Anyway, my computer has been acting kind of fishy lately and it's pretty annoying. Not a whole lot has been going on, but I think I say that too often. The biggest thing right now is my Dad's new job starting soon and we are thinking about settling down here where we are, but we're not sure if this is the direction the Lord is leading us in or not. So, please pray for us, that we will make the right decision. Thanks! Last night I didn't get to sleep until three a.m., I was very tired early this afternoon but I'm fine now that it is time to go to bed. I have already gotten my school work for tomorrow done. I love doing that. :) Especially considering that I am a night owl. I don't know why. Well, as I said before, it's late and I need to get to bed. Don't forget to vote on my poll on my sidebar. Thanks! I'll talk to you all later.
God bless
Love,

• Nov. 26, 2008 - You Know..........Never Mind!
Posted By God Keeps His Promises!
Well, (Hey, guess what, I didn't say "Hey everyone" this time!:) I'm getting very excited about Christmas but I guess I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself. On Monday afternoon our home school group had a Thanksgiving dinner and it was very good and fun. Last night we had church instead of tonight, because people might be out of town. Tomorrow we are going to have a nice quite family dinner. Just the five of us. It's nice that we get to have this time as a family to be Thankful for all the Lord has given us, especially right before my dad leaves for the Police Academy. We are going to have Turkey, (Well, yeah) cranberry sauce, Stove Top Stuffing, (My absolute favorite) and a new dish that my mom had at work and she loved it so she is going to make it for the family. And last but certainly not least we are going to have apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Stay tuned because tomorrow I am going to post a list of all the things I am thankful for (If I can think of all of them).
God bless
Love,
Hannah |

• Nov. 25, 2008 - One More Month!
Posted By God Keeps His Promises!
One More Month To:
Buy Christmas presents,
Pick out a Christmas tree and tie it to the top of your car and hope that it doesn't go through the window of the people in front of you,
Put the lights up on your roof, balcony, etc.
Get that half priced turkey and canned cranberry sauce
Wrap your presents or pay someone else to wrap your presents for you (just kidding)
One More Month and One Day Until Time To:
Take down the lights, the tree, and the stockings
Throw away all the wrapping paper
And to make turkey sandwiches with all of that left over turkey.
It seems like we spend weeks even months getting ready for Christmas and then just in one day it's all over, we're done with it. It's time for another holiday, New Years. Well, I am happy and proud to say that I have a God who is always there, He's NEVER done with me, and he never changes. This holiday season, don't forget that Christmas is NOT about getting lots of presents or about a fat man with a fluffy white beard and a red suit, it's about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. The one who came to earth to die on the cross for my sins and for your sins. Oh, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOO! Also remember that everyone has a LOT to be thankful for, so before you sit down to eat on Thursday, bow your head and thank God for everything you have.
God bless
Love,
Hannah
P.S. This is my 300th entry!!!! :)

Posted By God Keeps His Promises!
I have been tagged by skatebtd.
Rules:
Link to the person who tagged you;
Post the rules on your blog;
Write six random things about yourself;
Tag six people at the end of your post;
Let them know that you tagged them;
1. My family has not had our own Christmas tree up for three years. (We’ve been at my grandparent’s house)
2. I am a part of our church’s Christmas Cantata this year (singing and drama) :)
3. My favorite color has changed several times over the last sixteen years but for right now my favorite is purple (and it will probably stay that way for a while).
4. A few weeks ago I was in Bath and Body Works, and I sprayed air freshener on my arm because I thought it was Perfume.
5. Our family has a Christmas tradition of making Christmas cookies every year but we don’t do it every year. :P
6. Even though my eyes look bluish green in most of my pictures, they are really just blue.
Anyway, in other news, something very exciting will happen this week, besides Thanksgiving (Lord willing). Tomorrow is my mom’s LAST DAY of teaching. I’m SO excited, and of course, she is even more excited. My mom will finally be home during school for the first time this year. Also tomorrow, our home school group is having a Thanksgiving dinner. :D I will definitely bring my camera and try to get some good pictures to share with you all. But, for now, it is late and I still have school tomorrow. So, I’ll talk to you all later.
God bless
Love,
Hannah |

• Nov. 15, 2008 - I'm Tired of Thinking of Titles
Posted By God Keeps His Promises!
Hey everyone,
I know I promised you all some pictures from the birthday party I went to last night but I was too lazy to climb two flights of stairs in the dark to get my camera. So, sorry. Anyway, I went to bed around one thirty or so but most of the other girls watched a really dumb movie and then stay up and talked forever. So, I didn't get to sleep until after four, and then I had to get up a 8:45 to go to Cantata practice. As a result of that, I am VERY tired. I'm very excited about tomorrow. After church a missionary family is coming over to our house for dinner and my best friend Bethany is coming over to spend the afternoon. :) But, that's about it, I have to go fold some clothes. I'll talk to you all later.
God bless
Love,
Hannah

• Nov. 14, 2008 - My Week
Posted By God Keeps His Promises!
Hey everyone,
(Maybe I should think of another greeting.) Well, I guess it's safe to say that my week did get a little more interesting and I will try to tell you about it as quickly and painlessly as possible because I know it's not all that interesting to some of you. Anyway, on Tuesday I picked up a book and started reading it. I didn't read very much of it but on Wednesday I read half of it. I know it's not my reading level but my mom read it to me a few years ago and I loved and it's one of my mom's favorite books, so, therefore I decided to read it. Of course it's very rare for me to just pick up a book and start reading it but I decided that I was spending too much time on the computer and I needed to do something more valuable. Yesterday I went to school with mom once again. All of the kids were WILD and drove my mom and me both crazy. Nobody really said anything funny this time, (sorry) but one of the kids, let's just call him "Shorty" for safety purposes had a fascination with the flowers on my mom's sweater which was pretty funny. Last night my mom and I had a lot of errands to run. Holly asked us if "errands" was spelled to boy way "Aaron" or the girl way "Erin". Hahah, very funny. And last but certainly not least, I am going to a birthday party tonight, so, I will probably have pictures tomorrow. So, I guess I'm basically just rambling, sorry. Don't forget to go vote for me/AnAmericanGirl, HERE. Thanks!
God bless
Love,
Hannah |
