my free haul at CVS

I don't have pictures but I went to cvs yesterday with almost no money.
I got the wrong glucose monitor but got it free anyway.
1 contour monitor $14.99
1 24 count excedrin $1.99
1 buddy bar $.99
1 M&M $1.29

minus
$14.99 contour coupon
$2.00 excedrin coupon
$1.00 j&j coupon
All coupons were adjusted to price

out of pocket $1.28 Just payed for the m&m
Unfortunately I only got $1.00 extra care buck and not the $10.00 I thought I would get with the monitor.
I have to go back and get the strips.
I am going after payday when I actually have money.  I will get the strips for $29.99 minus a $20.00 coupon.  I will end up paying $9.99 and get back $10.00.  I might just try getting the second monitor for free and get the $10.00.  I can't say that will work except that people on the hotcouponworld.com have been getting two monitors and earning the ECB.
I also went to Target today to pay my cc and used a $3.00 huggies coupon .
I got a huggies shampoo for 2.89 plus a 70+ count wipes for $1.94
I used the $3.00 and a $1.00 shampoo coupon.  I also bought a soda.  out of pocket was $2.xx

yesterdays spending:
Spent $1.28 at one cvs
spent  $.99 at another cvs...got Excedrin and an 8 pack of toothbrushes.
My dh spent some money too, but would not tell me how much.

Today..spent the money from Target ($10.00 and $2.xx)
And bought some pizzas at Little  Caesars $17.xx
No money but still got pizza.
Well..I had some gas money we had not used and my pantries and fridge are almost empty.  My kids are rebelling.  So, I decided to just buy some pizzas with some pushing from my dear husband.  He was painting and then had to go to work.  He felt that he deserved some pizza I guess.  They were on sale for $3.99 for a large pepperoni.  So we got 4 and that should be enough for lunch and dinner.

Menu:
Breakfast-cold cereal
Lunch Pizza
Dinner Pizza or enchiladas if the pizza is all gone.

One more day and then PAYDAY!!!
I know come payday, I am going to go wild at the grocery store.  I don't want to blow my budget, but I know that we need to replace so much and we are so tired of the inexpensive food...
I hope that I can control myself.
I am budgeting $200.00 for 2 weeks.
I think that is enough,  I hope that is enough.
I am also planning to start a savings at ING online.

Being Frugal

Have you heard of www.refundcents.com or www.thegrocerygame.com?
I have been following the lists on there for a year now and I have saved so much money!
If you have questions, let me know.

I have heard of the grocery game. I am just worried about having another payment even if its a small one.
Might just try it though, because I really need to cut down on my spending.
Thanks for the comment
